IMDC reviews its rates once per year. Adjustments, if any, occur at the on the university fiscal year timetable (July1).
According to University of Wisconsin Accounting Policies and Procedures, “Products or services sold to customers outside the UW System (excluding Wisconsin state agencies) must be priced to recover all of the selling unit’s costs of providing the product or services as well as the University’s indirect costs as estimated by the University’s Federal Overhead Rate (currently 47%)."
